Essential oils and breathwork
During some of my breathwork classes I use essential oils to support the breathwork session. Aromatherapy can be a beautiful companion during breathwork, because aroma reaches the brain quickly and may help you settle into the experience with more ease and intention.
The oils are used during the Threefold Breathwork Ritual at Alchemy Yoga Center (most Tuesdays at 2 PM) and during ZZZIN breath at The IN movement (most Mondays at 7 PM). These classes are guided by live handpan music and paired with carefully selected essential oils to deepen the experience. I use several premium quality essential oils and blends during these classes and they might vary from time to time. Below I will tell you which ones I use the most at the moment.
OILS USED DURING ZZZIN Breath Class
ZZZIN Breath is a relaxing breathwork class I teach on most Monday evenings at 7 PM at The IN Movement. Check the schedule for info and bookings.
Oils used: a mix of Lavender and Orange.
Lavender is chosen for its well-known calming and soothing aroma that helps quiet the mind and encourage deep relaxation during the evening practice. Orange adds a gentle, uplifting brightness that can foster a sense of ease and emotional balance, allowing participants to settle more fully into each breath with greater intention and peace.
Oils used during the Threefold Breath Ritual
This is a class a I teach at Alchemy Yoga Center on most Tuesdays at 2PM. Please check the schedule for info and booking.
In this Threefold Breathwork Ritual, the exercises are guided by live handpan music and supported by essential oils for a deeper, more sensory experience. We move through three distinct phases: creation, preservation, and release. Each guided by gentle breathing techniques and paired with carefully selected oils to compliment the experience of focus, relaxation, and emotional awareness.
Inspired by the natural rhythm of beginning, sustaining, and letting go, this practice invites you to slow down and tune into what is present within you. The integration of breath, scent, and awareness creates space to reconnect with your intention and inner direction.
A grounded, supportive, and often deeply enriching experience for both body and mind.
